I grew up in Romania in the heart of Eastern Europe where I was surrounded by the natural beauty of the Carpathian Mountains and where the architectural wonders created by my ancestors over countless centuries inspired my young imagination.
Since the day I bought my first camera I have never gone anywhere without it. I’ve spent much of my adult life traveling the world and exploring its natural beauty which is what inspired me to begin a career as a professional photographer in the first place.
I like to think that in every simple thing, there is great beauty waiting to be revealed through the lens. Michelangelo believed that in each block of stone he carved, there was a figure hidden inside, waiting to be released. I try to think about that every time I pick up the camera.
